Kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year is just around the corner, and Hingham Public Schools looks forward to welcoming families who are beginning this exciting new chapter.
Parents and caregivers of children entering kindergarten in September 2026 are invited to attend Kindergarten Information Night on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:30–7:30 PM at Hingham Middle School.
During the evening, families will have the opportunity to meet their child’s future principal, hear from kindergarten lead teachers, and learn more about the kindergarten program. The presentation will also walk families through important registration and enrollment dates, with time for questions, to help ensure a smooth start to the school year.

Eligibility:
Children must be 5 years old by August 31, 2026, to be eligible for kindergarten.
