Transportation Made Easy
Your bus information is ready! Find the information here: https://www.hinghamschools.org/page/transportation
Our transportation team has carefully planned every route to ensure safe, efficient travel for all students. Remember, students can only ride their assigned bus unless special arrangements are made through the transportation department.
Please see the below instructions for completing your back to school forms in Aspen:
Student Beginning of the Year Forms (OLRR):
Families with students currently enrolled in Hingham Public Schools must complete the Online Re-Registration (OLRR) process each school year.
Instructions for Returning Student Re-Registration (OLRR): [View HERE]
Please complete this process by September 14th, 2026.
Pick Up Patrol
Foster uses PickUp Patrol to help us track attendance and dismissal information.
Notes, emails, or phone calls are not accepted for changes, except in emergencies.
RETURNING PARENTS: Please enter and confirm your child’s default plan here: https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents by August 31. For a safe dismissal, it’s essential that we know your student’s regular, daily dismissal plans before the first day of school.
NEW PARENTS: You will receive a registration email with a link to set up your account. Please register and enter your child’s Default Dismissal Plans by August 31.
Smooth Arrival & Dismissal
We're continuing our efficient car line system around the loop. Since dismissal happens outdoors and can take approximately 10 minutes, please make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
Essential Resources at Your Fingertips
Parent/Student Handbook: Available online now at www.hinghamschools.org – your go-to resource for everything you need to know!
School Calendar: Find all important dates on our website and in the weekly newsletter sent to you by email
Communication Flow: Always start with your child's classroom teacher for any concerns, then reach out to our counselors, psychologist, or nurse as needed
Delicious & Nutritious Lunch Program
Fantastic news! Student lunches continue to be FREE for all children, and bringing lunch from home is always welcome too. Students will choose their lunch option each morning right in their classrooms – hot lunch (1st choice), cold lunch (2nd choice), or home lunch. Be sure to review daily options with your child and post the lunch menu (found on our website) somewhere visible at home.
