Foster School's 5th-grade Student Council recently crafted kindness lanterns during their meeting in preparation for next week's schoolwide Kindness Week. These lanterns are now displayed throughout the building, encouraging students to spread kindness in meaningful ways.

Michael Page in the house! ☀️☁️🙌
Michael Page, a local Channel 5 meteorologist and Hingham local, recently visited Foster Elementary 3rd graders to explain hurricanes, high and low pressure, jet streams, the technical definition of a blizzard (not what we all thought!) and types of clouds. It all reinforced what students learned in their science and weather units this fall and we all walked away with new knowledge.
Huge shoutout to the Foster PTO @foster_pto_02043 for making this fantastic learning experience possible for our students! 👏

Hingham 4th graders have come together to raise funds for students in Swannanoa, North Carolina, impacted by Hurricane Helene. Through lemonade stands, craft sales, and even helping with chores, students have worked hard to support their peers in need.
A special shoutout to the teachers who helped organize this effort: Eileen Farrell from Foster, Susan Willison from Plymouth River, and Brian DeMarco from East.
