Graduation 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Here at Hingham High School, we are excitedly finalizing plans for the upcoming graduation ceremony honoring the Class of 2026. This special event will celebrate the academic achievements of our seniors, and we are committed to making it a memorable experience for graduates, their families, and their friends.

Weather permitting, the graduation ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, on our turf field.

Seating Information: Spectator seating will be available in the large bleachers located on the west side of the multi-purpose field. These bleachers are fully compliant with, or exceed, handicapped accessibility standards. All seating will be unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Seat saving is prohibited.  Anything used for this purpose will be removed.  The gates to the stadium will be locked until 9:00 a.m. No one will be permitted to enter until 9:00 a.m.

Guests may enter the bleacher area through the two adjacent entrances or the entrance at the end of the field. Ushers will be stationed at all entrances and will have programs available.

We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we extend our warmest congratulations to our graduates and their families. We look forward to celebrating with you on this momentous occasion!

Sincerely,

sig

Dear Senior Parents,

As the spring season is in full swing, the end of our time at HHS is quickly approaching, something that still feels hard to believe. To celebrate our final day of school on Tuesday, May 19th, the class officers, advisors, and parents are planning a special outdoor Senior Field Day on Wednesday, May 20th. Having had the opportunity to help with past senior celebrations, the Class of 2026 officers and I have seen firsthand the effort that goes into making this day so meaningful. It has been a wonderful tradition, and we are excited to carry on that same spirit of enthusiasm and collaboration this year. All events have been thoughtfully organized within school guidelines to ensure a fun, memorable, and meaningful final day together.

We are grateful to the Hingham Recreation Center for generously providing their facilities for the day’s events. The morning will begin with breakfast at the Rec Center. Afterward, the class will hear from motivational speaker, “The Machine” Jesse Green. The day will also include games and a picnic lunch from Jersey Mike’s on the fields behind the Rec Center and Hingham Town Hall. Seniors will also have the opportunity to pick up their caps and gowns for graduation, as well as pick up their “Senior” lawn signs, and yearbooks (fingers crossed!).

To make this day a success, we will need plenty of support. We are looking for parent volunteers to help donate breakfast foods, drinks for the day, and assist with setting up activities on the fields. Please keep an eye out for an upcoming email from our class parents Jane McGrath (jane.e.mcgrath@gmail.com), Wallis Bowyer (wallisbowyer@gmail.com), Molly Sellers (mollyvsellers@yahoo.com), Kristen Corey (kristenbcorey@gmail.com), Julie Polmonari (jpolmonari@gmail.com) or Ellie Pariseault (elliebchrisp@yahoo.com) with details on how to sign up. We truly appreciate any help you are able to provide in making this day run smoothly.

Sincerely,

Emily Kiernan - Class President

Caitlin Patten - Class Vice President

Alec Whitemore - Class Secretary

Sean Carroll - Class Treasurer

Arianna Sood - Class Student Advisory Committee Representative
