Exploring History & Community at Hingham Public Library! 📚
On Thursday, Ms. O'Connor’s 11th grade U.S. History students took a field trip to the Hingham Public Library, where they explored the many resources available to them. In collaboration with HPL librarians Michael Achille and Meghan McCusker, students engaged in a hands-on program designed to strengthen their research skills and deepen their appreciation for the role of public libraries.
By the end of the trip, students walked away with new library cards, a stronger understanding of research methods, and a greater appreciation for the vital role libraries play in our communities.
A huge thank you to HPL and their amazing librarians for this enriching experience!
