While students had their first half day of the school year, our teachers participated in professional development led by Dr. Jessica Minahan, co-author of The Behavior Code.
Dr. Minahan’s presentation focused on strategies for supporting students with anxiety, oppositional behavior, and executive functioning challenges. The approach outlined in The Behavior Code offers a systematic way to identify the causes of these behaviors and apply proven techniques to help students succeed.
Educators left with practical, research-based strategies they can use to transform the classroom experience for students facing behavioral and emotional challenges.

All Hingham Public Schools will have an Early Release on Wed. September 18, 2024, for professional development.
⏰Early Release Times:
East - 12:00 PM
Foster - 11:30 AM
Plymouth River - 11:30 AM
South - 12:00 PM

We're excited to share that Hingham Sports Partnership (HSP) has started construction on The DOCK, a new 2,500-square-foot fitness and wellness center at @Hingham High School. Demolition has already begun near the track to make way for this modern facility.
The DOCK Wellness Center will be a welcoming space for students to focus on wellness and enhance their overall experience. The project is fully funded by philanthropy and is expected to be completed by 2025.
Learn more about HSP and The DOCK at https://www.hinghamsports.com/node/12.

There's only ONE DAY left to donate! Drop off your non-perishable items and canned foods to the LABELED BOXES in your school cafeteria. Let’s come together and make a difference! All donations will be provided to the Hingham Food Pantry. ✨🥫
